Pastor Rob Davis: Matt. 5:13
In Matthew 5:13 Jesus continues with His Sermon on the Mount by making the first of 2 statements about the believer’s influence on the world.
- You are the salt of the earth.
- It is you, and no one else (v. 13a)!
- You must not lose your influence.
- Because you will become foolish (v. 13b).
- Because you will be useless in the kingdom (v. 13c).
