Pastor Rob Davis: Matt. 7:1-6

In Matthew 7:1-6, Jesus teaches us four truths about judging others.

  1. The penalty for judging wrongly is God’s judgment (vv. 1,2).
  2. The root cause of judging wrongly is hypocrisy (vv. 3,4).
  3. The antidote for judging wrongly is repentance (v. 5).
  4. The response to those judging the gospel wrongly is silence (v. 6).
