28 10 2007Pastor Rob Davis: Matt. 7:13,14
In Matthew 7:13-14 Jesus makes four distinct contrasts as He commands us to enter through the narrow gate:
- There are two gates.
- One is wide (v. 13b).
- One is narrow/small (v. 13a & 14a).
- There are two ways.
- One is broad (v. 13c).
- One is narrow (v. 14b).
- There are two destinations.
- One is destruction (v. 13d).
- One is life (v. 14c).
- There are two groups of people.
- One is large (v. 13e).
- One is small (v. 14d).
